So.. aside from graphic design, my other passion lies completely in plush toy design. My plush toys usually begin life as silly sketches and then begin to take form as I experiment with inexpensive felt to create and troubleshoot the pattern designs. All the the large "body" parts are done using my industrial sewing machine. The details, such as the faces, embellishments, etc are done 100% by hand with a needle and thread. Most plush, depending on the amount of detail, take anywhere from 10-12 hours from start to finish.

My plush toys are created and sold under the brand I've created for them called "Mochi Mart". I began my plush toy selling business back in 2007, and have since gone to two shows marketing them. I will be attending another large show this April in Boston.

I've had this lovely doll since December and have been itching for a chance to take some decent photographs. Testing the water out with my freshly dusted off point and shoot digital camera. Still learning how to use it.
